In the arena of human life the honours and rewards fall to those who show their good qualities.
--Aristotle

The goal of the Athletic Program is to serve as an extension and reinforcement of the educational goals of Tuscarora High School.

Characteristics such as: respect, hard work, attention to detail, discipline, self-confidence, obeying rules, treating individuals as equals, self esteem, preparation, ability to overcome obstacles, and development of a mentally tough attitude will allow a student athlete to be successful in the classroom, on the athletic field, and an asset to the Community.

Tuscarora athletes not only represent themselves, but their team, and the Tuscarora school community. These athletes should be aware of their conduct in school, on the athletic field, on school buses, at away facilities, and in the community. By providing a nurturing environment, the Athletic Program promotes and models those characteristics, which help our student athletes serve as leaders and role models for the entire school community.

It isn’t easy being green.--Kermit
