The primary purpose of the Guidance program is to help students help themselves. Our counselors are certified and licensed as therapists; while we are not adequately staffed to do ongoing, intensve therapy with students, we work with them individually to develop a better understanding of the choices they make, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and establish goals for their future. We wish all students to learn the skills they need to navigate in the academic world, the working world and the social realm so that they finish high school with a sense of confidence.
